Photo: a rainbow over bricks and mortar

In London on Saturday night, a huge double rainbow appeared over the London skyline. It was a beautiful sight and luckily I just had enough battery to take 2 pictures with my camera before it shut down. No pressure then. It appeared in front of perhaps the ugliest building in London, making it look strangely attractive for once in its 40 year history. Finally, and this is what strikes me as odd. Notice the colour of the sky on the left is different to the one on the right. I have no idea why? does someone who is involve in meteorology or physics know why this is? Anyway, this is proof that even ugly London skylines can sometime be quite pretty

Does a meteorologist or physicist reading this blog know why this is? Are there any out there? Anyway, this is proof that even seemingly ugly London skylines can sometime be quite pretty
