This woman was on the way to the market as we were getting near. The fog was really dense, and this feels otherworldly

In Pakistan, colourful trucks are the norm on the roads. This one, carrying some potatoes to the market, was just one of many!

Photo: when the snow falls, peace generally follows…

Ascot, snow, relaxation, black and white

I did my masters near the town of Ascot (near the famous horse racecourse). One day it snowed on campus, and the giant conifer tree in the fields was grandiose. It was silent and very relaxing. I find the empty bench is inviting us to sit, ponder and wander in our own thoughts, next to a very wise soul… It is important to possess a place you know you have in order to find peace of mind, if only for a moment in this crazy life…

Photo: The forgotten Mosque next to the Taj Mahal

When Sophie and I visited the Taj Mahal back in November 2008, the fog made things very surreal. What'smore the actual tomb building is so famous the buildings on the side are completely in its shadow. I really liked the Mosque on its side, and this picture transports me back 1000 years!

What’smore the actual tomb building is so famous the buildings on the side are completely in its shadow. I really liked the Mosque on its side, and this picture transports me back 1000 years! The picture was taken with a really old 1.2 MGpixel camera, but the blurriness adds to the beauty of the scene!
